We have hired Susan Katcher (Blue Sky Interiors) for two different painting jobs in the past couple of years.  Susan is amazing!!  Her attention to detail is remarkable, she works really hard, she barely squeezes in a lunch break when she’s here, and her rates are more than fair.  With scaffolding and ladders, she painted our two story living room walls and ceiling with no assistance.  When the scaffolding wouldn’t fit in our foyer, she taped a brush to a long pole (!) and stood on a very tall ladder to paint around a ceiling light fixture.  We feel like Susan is painting our home with the same care that she would paint her own.  And the icing on the cake – she’s really pleasant and easy to talk to, and takes no offense if you suggest a touch-up here or there.  We wish we had more rooms in our house that needed painting!!  We cannot recommend Susan highly enough.  She is a gem!

Blue Sky painted much of our main floor and all of our hallway on our second floor.  The color suggestions were quite tasteful and complement the rest of the interior.  The work was meticulous and done in a very timely fashion.  To put it succinctly-"Great bang for the buck"!  I highly recommend this business.....

When we remodeled a small bathroom, we wanted to wallpaper part of it.  Did an Internet search and found Blue Sky Interiors.  Called Susan and found her willing and available to do the job.  She was able to come and do it on fairly short notice and did a wonderful job.

About a year later we needed some Oak Trim around some windows painted white.  We weren’t sure if the Oak needed to be sanded first, or how to ensure the paint adheres.  Knowing Susan does a lot of painting we felt she might know the best way to do it.  She did, and she was able to do the job beautifully.

Another 9 months and we needed a Bathroom, Bedroom, and Entrance with Stairs painted.  Once again Susan came to the rescue and did a beautiful job.  She was even able to climb tall ladders to reach the top of the wall in the 2 story entrance.

Susan is a perfectionist and does a beautiful job.  She assists in choosing colors and makes recommendations if asked.  But what we appreciate most is her communication.  She responds reasonably quickly when you call.  She is upfront when she has scheduling conflicts that may delay your job for a while.  She’s prompt in showing up when she says she will but will call if she is delayed.  If her portion of a project needs to wait while other work is completed, she willingly juggles her schedule to accommodate.  All in all we have always been very pleased working with Susan.
