Wallpaper is back! Yayy!

I have something to add when people say, "I think wallpaper is starting to come back". Well, I'm here to tell ya, wallpaper IS back. That is exciting because wallpaper changes a room like nothing else, imho, and because I love to wallpaper. Talk about instant gratification! I love to garden, too, but as we all know, that has nothing to do with instant gratification. So the big reason, we all want to add beauty to our home.

Before wallpaper was "back" (newsflash--it's been back a few years now) I installed it on such a rare occassion that I would get nervous in starting the project and I had to really think it through more. Now, it's routine. Any feeling I get from starting a wallpaper installation is a giddy feeling of excitement and anticipation of changing the look of a room from "meh" to "wow!".....from boring to beautiful.

Wallpaper adds texture, pattern, color, charm and personality. It definitely states traditional, modern, abstract or fun. It can turn into the focal point and\or ties everything together. There are so many beautiful wallpapers and murals. It might be hard to choose but usually there is a pull to one in particular--that's it!

Remember the old wallpaper that was so hard to remove? Nobody wanted wallpaper anymore and the removal was a big reason. Wallpaper manufacturers have wised up and made wallpaper easier to remove, or as I like to call it, "de-wallpaper".

There are a few places in Cedar Rapids where you can actually look through wallpaper books--Sherwin Williams, Klinger Paint and some Interior Designers. Online wallpaper companies are plentiful. I have installed wallpaper from Spoonflower, the Rifle Paper Co., Graham & Brown, Rebel Walls and Limitless Walls (for murals) Wallism and Hygge & West--just to name a few.

I will come to your home and measure to see how much wallpaper is needed. All wallpapers are different. Not all are the standard size so calculating how much is dependent on the specific wallpaper you choose.
